Crisis Intervention, Detoxification
& Sobriety Maintenance
The Phoenix House Keene Center offers a range of services including crisis intervention for those at high risk of using drugs or relapsing; a sobriety maintenance program; and clinically managed detoxification from alcohol or other drugs. Help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Length of stay averages three to five days for crisis intervention; up to four weeks for clients enrolled in our sobriety maintenance program, who are waiting to be placed in a residential treatment program; and up to six months for those who have completed our residential treatment program and need support and case management while transitioning back into the community.
We also offer residential treatment for chemically dependent clients and clients with a secondary co-occurring mental health diagnosis. These clients must be stable enough to focus on recovery from addiction. The typical length of stay is four to six weeks, followed by a referral to the next appropriate level of care. Key components of the program include a structured daily schedule, individual and group therapies, expressive arts, community service, and self-help group attendance. The program provides education, support and aftercare planning, and, when necessary, psychiatric and medical evaluations.
Residential Treatment for Chemically
Dependent and Dually Disordered Clients
